Features include: * Floating chat button. * Multiple button styles. * Custom message and dynamic variables. * Desktop and mobile visibility controls. * Homepage, page, post and WooCommerce product display rules. * Include or exclude content by ID. * WooCommerce product enquiry button. * Shortcode support. * Optional privacy-friendly click analytics stored locally. * Optional lead capture form before opening WhatsApp. * Lead fields for first name, last name, email, phone number and message. * Lead data stored locally in the site’s WordPress database. * Flexible serialized lead data structure for future fields. ### Privacy When lead capture is disabled, the plugin does not intentionally store visitor names, email addresses, phone numbers or chat message content. When lead capture is enabled by the site administrator, the form data (first name, last name, email, phone number and message) is stored in the website’s own WordPress database. Basic source metadata such as page URL, page title, post ID, device type and creation time is stored with the lead. Site administrators are responsible for providing an appropriate privacy notice and handling stored lead data in accordance with applicable privacy laws and their site’s privacy policy. When optional click analytics are enabled by the site administrator, the plugin stores the page path, related WordPress post ID when available, device type and click time in the website’s own WordPress database. Analytics are disabled by default. After a lead is submitted, the visitor’s browser is sent to WhatsApp using a WhatsApp URL. The submitted lead details are included in the WhatsApp message. The use of WhatsApp is governed by the applicable WhatsApp and Meta policies. No. Click analytics are disabled by default and can be enabled by the site administrator in the plugin settings. ### Does the plugin store captured leads? Only when Lead Capture is enabled. Captured lead fields are stored in the site’s own WordPress database and can be viewed from wpgrock Chat Button > Leads. ### Can future lead fields be added without changing the lead table? Yes. The flexible lead fields are stored together as a serialized data structure in one database column, so additional fields can be added in future versions without requiring a separate database column for each field. ### What shortcode can I use? The preferred shortcode is [wpgrock_chat_button]. The existing [smart_whatsapp] shortcode is also retained for backward compatibility. ### How do I disable the floating button?
